Repairing My Fiberglass Canoe

Step 1. Outlining the damaged area.

Step 2. Cutting the damaged fiberglass out.

Step 3. Grind the paint off of the fiberglass around the damaged area.

Birthday on Estero Bay

For my birthday I spent the day fishing for Trout. Caught 3 spotted sea trout with live shrimp on red jig head, it's the preferred method in SW Florida. Caught 1 on a live shrimp on popper cork. They all measured around 18 inches. Here is a picture of 3 trout on a sheet tray getting ready to be cleaned.

First Keeper Snook

32" Snook caught at Gordon's pass on the outside of the Jetty. Live Shrimp on circle hood with small split shot 12" from hook. Beautiful calm day. Lots of action.

Baby Grouper

12 Miles out from Wiggins Pass. Drifting over structure with live shrimp.

Keeywadin Island Redfish.

32" Redfish caught on Red Jighead with live shrimp. Warm day in late spring with calm seas and in the mid to upper 80s.
